The Kia Stinger sports sedan is an underrated gem, according to whom you ask. It stands out in a crowded parking lot with its familiar yet foreign looks that become more appealing with each glance. At our XPEL install shop, we tinted all the glass on the 2022 Kia Stinger with PRIME XR PLUS ™ window film. The 2022 Kia Stinger features an upgraded engine with increased performance numbers. The base engine is now a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 300-hp. The higher-spec 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 produces 368-hp and gains a new variable exhaust system with larger tips. The 2022 Stinger also gains new wheel designs and updated exterior lighting. Velocity Blue looks excellent under the Las Vegas sun on this 2020 Shelby GT350. However, to better preserve the Mustang’s paint quality against everyday paint damage, the owner brought it to our XPEL install center. Here we treated the GT350’s hood, front fenders, bumper, side mirrors, and headlamps in ULTIMATE PLUS ™ PPF. XPEL paint protection film offers self-healing properties and industry-leading protection against scratch marks, chemical pollutants, and rock chips.

The year 2020 was the last production year of the Shelby GT350. It ended its production putting out 526-hp from its 5.2-liter V8 codenamed Voodoo. It’s a muscle car by definition with a zero to 60 time of 4.2-seconds. The GT350R spec came standard with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Track-spec tires. In addition, the R spec features oil coolers for the engine, transmission, and differential for better track-day performance.

Today, the owner of this red hot 2021 Corvette C8 dropped it off at our Las Vegas install shop. We treated the new C8 Vette with XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS ™ Paint Protection Film. The C8 owner opted for our partial-front ‘clear bra’ PPF service. A partial-front ppf service wraps the Corvette’s front bumper, headlights, and the first half of its hood and fenders. For 2021, the Chevrolet Corvette C8 is still offering the 6.2-liter LT2 V8. No fancy superchargers or twin turbos are required to make power in the C8. This race-ready 2021 Audi R8 was brought to us by Speed Vegas. The R8 will spend most of its time on the racetrack giving people the supercar experience. It is always a thrill to see the latest supercars at our XPEL install shop, like this outstanding 2021 Ferrari 812 Superfast GTS. First, we treated the front-end of the Ferrari 812 GTS in our ULTIMATE PLUS ™ Paint Protection Film. Then, XPEL installers treated the glass on this Italian supercar with PRIME XR PLUS ™ ceramic window tint. The dark-tinted windows match beautifully with the Ferrari 812’s blue exterior paint. This Ferrari is ready for an extended grand tour.

The Ferrari 812 Superfast GTS is the drop-top variant of the coupe 812. Beyond that, the GTS offers the same hyper-speed performance as the coupe. It lives up to its Superfast name using a 6.5-liter V12 and three electric motors to produce an impressive 789-hp. This hybrid drivetrain pushes the Ferrari from zero to 60 in 2.8 seconds and onward to a top speed of 211 mph. Electric luxury sedans are becoming a common sight at our Las Vegas install shop. The latest and greatest EVs on the market show up seeking quality paint protection and ceramic window tint to defend against the Nevada sun. Like this 2021 Audi E-Tron, bought to us by the good people at Audi USA. We treated the advanced Audi EV with a partial-front ‘clear bra’ ULTIMATE PLUS paint protection wrap. With a partial-front, the E-Tron’s front bumper, side mirrors, part of the hood, and fenders are covered. The first owner of this E-Tron will get to enjoy the benefits of XPEL paint protection the minute it rolls out of the dealership.

The Audi E-Tron is the manufacturer’s first electric vehicle, debuting in 2019. It uses two electric motors, one per axle, powered by a 95-kWh battery pack. Total system power is rated at 355 hp and 414 lb-ft of torque. The E-Tron’s range is estimated at 220 miles.

2021 Porsche 911 Targa 

The good folks at Gaudin Porsche of Las Vegas brought us this exquisite 2021 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa. This brand-new Porsche 911 was treated with a full-front ‘clear bra’ PPF wrap. We applied our ULTIMATE PLUS ™ Paint Protection Film with self-healing properties to the Porsche 911 Targa’s hood, front bumper, side mirrors, and fenders. 

The Targa is just one of 14 Porsche 911 variants. While not a true convertible, the Targa features a power-retractable Targa panel offering open-air space. The standard engine for the 2021 Porsche 911 Targa is the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine producing 379-hp. For an additional charge, the Targa 4S is offered with higher performance. The Porsche 911 Targa 4S engine has 443-hp and includes Porsche’s Sport Chrono package as standard. Unique for the Targa, it is only available in all-wheel-drive but can be optioned with a traditional seven-speed manual transmission. 

ULTIMATE PLUS ™ Porsche 911 Paint Protection

ULTIMATE PLUS ™ paint protection wrap is a transparent, durable film developed to protect surfaces against scratch marks, paint chips, and corrosion brought on by environmental contaminants. Pollutants like bird droppings and acids from bugs. ULTIMATE PLUS ppf is virtually unnoticeable and leaves a high-gloss shine on wrapped surfaces. The paint protection film ‘self-healing’ properties work with direct sunlight to vanish away light paint damage like swirl marks and faint scratches.

We offer protection wraps in a partial-front which covers the front bumper and partially covers the hood and side fenders. Our most well-known ppf service is the full-front known as a ‘clear bra,’ which covers the entire hood, fenders, front bumper, side mirrors, and headlamps. However, one can always request to wrap the whole vehicle in XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS ™ paint protection film. Our ppf can also be applied to interiors and trim pieces like carbon fiber wings and rear diffusers.

This brand new 2021 Tesla Model Y was brought to our Las Vegas install shop. We treated the stylish EV with a full-front ULTIMATE PLUS ™ Tesla Paint Protection Film. Our ‘clear bra’ wrap protects the hood, bumper, side mirrors, and fenders. 

At the start of 2021, Tesla released a Standard Range variant for the Model Y. It is a rear-wheel-drive only and offers 244-miles of range. However, since then, that trim option has been removed. This was after Elon Musk announced that a better variant would replace it. Of course, one can still buy a 2021 Tesla Model Y in an all-wheel-drive Long Range variant. The Long Range Model Y delivers 326 miles of range. There is also a performance variant with a range of 303 miles. This model variant also comes with 20-inch wheels and a top speed of 145 mph with a track mode.

ULTIMATE PLUS ™ ‘self healing’ paint protection film works with direct sunlight to vanish away light paint damage like swirl marks and faint scratches. It is a transparent film that acts like a barrier protecting surfaces against rock chips, scratches, road grime and leaves a premium high-gloss shine. 

We offer a full-front wrap that protects the hood, bumper, fenders, and side mirrors. However, our certified installers can wrap an entire vehicle in ppf to meet a client’s needs. Specialty trim pieces like carbon fiber rear wings, front spoilers, diffusers, and matte paint can benefit significantly from paint protection film.
